Eric Conner

Lead Administrator

Eric Conner is an eleventh-generation Lancastrian whose lineage includes some of the area's first Anabaptist, Quaker, and Huguenot settlers. After briefly working in the Pennsylvania political arena in Harrisburg, Conner transitioned into Lancaster County tourism and tourism business management, where he spent 22 years managing guest-facing operations at two historically significant and large local tourist attractions.


He holds a B.S. in Government and Public Policy from Liberty University and is an avid collector and local historian with special interests in Pennsylvania German heritage and Pennsylvania gubernatorial history.

Eric joined the team of Cremation Services of Pennsylvania (a sister company of the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home) in May 2025 and is currently enrolled at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (PIMS).



He is the author of the following books and articles: Images of Rail: Strasburg Rail Road (2017); Soli Deo Gloria: The Story of a Good Work (2018); Where Today Touches History: The Story of the Amish Farm & House and the Birth of Amish Tourism (2019); Visiting the Garden Spot: The Story of Lancaster County Tourism (2022); and Powder for Perry: The Story of the Gingrich Conestoga Wagon (2023). 


Eric is a member of LancasterHistory’s Journal editorial board and LancasterHistory’s Collections Committee. He is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Lancaster. 

He resides in Manheim Township with his wife and their two daughters.


John Kenderdine

Funeral Director

John is a native Pennsylvanian, growing up in Newtown, Bucks County. He graduated from high school in 1981 and later received his theological degree from a small Baptist college in Indiana. After serving for nine years as an assistant pastor in Philadelphia, John moved to Cambodia to begin a seven-year term as a missionary. Following an accident in Cambodia that claimed his first wife, John remarried and is now pursuing a second career as a funeral director.


He enrolled at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2011, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Mortuary Science. During his schooling John had the privilege of working at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and also served his internship there. He was licensed in February 2015 and continues to serve as Managing Director of Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Supervisor of Cremation Services of Pennsylvania.


John and his wife Sherry, reside in Lititz Borough, and are the parents of three grown children. They are both active members of Bible Baptist Church of Leola, where John serves as a trustee, sings in the church’s choir and men’s group and leads the church’s nursing home ministry at Conestoga View Nursing Home in Lancaster.


Jasmin Lugo

Administrative Assistant

Jasmin, a native of Brooklyn New York, has lived in Pennsylvania for more than 20 plus years. She grew up in Lancaster County. Jasmin graduated from High School in 2000 and later received an associate degree in business management from Consolidated School of Business in Lancaster, PA. 


After obtaining her degree she starting working for the School District of Lancaster as secretary for the Special Education Department and served there for four years. While serving in the school district, she had the unfortunate event of losing her mother in 2018. The service provided by the funeral home and staff is what made her desire to change occupations and take a different direction in life. Jasmin works as an Administrative Assistant for Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Cremation Services of PA. Jasmin’s passion is to help individual during the grieving process.



 Jasmin resides in Lancaster with her husband and three children. She is an active member of Journey Church in Ronks, PA and enjoys serving at the church and in her community.
