Aarne loves the outdoors and finds his center in the connection he has with the earth. His favorite place to be grounded is Po Paddy State Park in the Bald Eagle state forest, which he more commonly refers to as the temple of the raven. He loves it so much, he even camped there with his wife Denise for their honeymoon. He will be most remembered for his adventurous spirit, excitable nature, undeniable originality, rugged strength, uncommon sense and his unwavering determination. During his 887 moons, Aarne worked many different trades. He accomplished much over his lifetime. The man was unprecedentedly resourceful and able to accomplish any task with the most meager of means. The position in which he had the most fun was riding the rails for the Pennsylvania railroads. He was most passionate about auto racing during his time as an Indy car mechanic and pit crew member. He most enjoyed his employment as the equipment maintenance guru during the sunset years of the Silver Springs golf course. He did so many other jobs along the way they are too numerous to list. When considering all the work he did there was undoubtedly one job he loved more than all the others combined. Aarne loved nothing more than being a father! His bond with his two sons Aarne Joseph and Michael Severino grew from the day of their births. He continued to impart wisdom unto them until his very last hours. We lived a good life together, experienced much, made mistakes and most of all we loved hard! Having fun was always his first priority. Experiences of camping, auto racing, motorcycling and enjoying movies together will forever remind the boys of all the best times spent with Dad. Aarne will most be remembered for his ability to step up and be the strength during any crisis. When something was in desperate need to get done, he was always the one! GONE CAMPING…….
