Aaron Michael Kempest

Aaron Michael Kempest, 43, of Coatesville, passed away unexpectedly at Paoli Hospital on May 1, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of James Kempest and Cheryl (Gibson) Young.

Aaron enjoyed working on restoring mopeds, model train sets, and gardening.

He is survived by his son, Zayn Michael Kempest (at home), daughter, Destiny Kempest, and step-daughter, Aurora Hewitt (Kaleb); his grandson, Tobias Hewitt; his mother, Cheryl Young (M. Thomas Young); his father, James Kempest; brothers Andrew Kempest (Rebecca) and Cody Pluck; sister Jamie Davis; niece Montana Davis; nephew Gabriel Kempest; and his long-time domestic partner, Michele Trego; as well as extended family and many friends.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
