Aaron Michael Kempest

Aaron Michael Kempest, 43, of Coatesville, passed away unexpectedly at Paoli Hospital on May 1, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of James Kempest and Cheryl (Gibson) Young.

Aaron enjoyed and loved working and riding mopeds and old lawn tractors. As well as his new passion for collecting glassware and lamps.

Aaron is survived by his son, Zayn Michael Kempest (at home) along with long time partner, Michele Trego; daughter, Destiny Kempest, and step-daughter, Aurora Huyett (Kaleb); his grandson, Tobias Huyett; his mother, Cheryl Young (M. Thomas Young); his father, James Kempest; brothers Andrew Kempest (Rebecca) and Cody Pluck; sister Jamie Davis; niece Montana Davis; nephew Gabriel Kempest;  as well as extended family and many friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Irene and Stanley Kempest, and maternal grandparents, Margaret and Darrel Gibson Sr., as well as his stepfather Edward Pluck Jr. and a stepbrother Brian Pluck.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
