Anna Doriney Seagers With deep sadness and broken hearts, we share the unexpected news of the passing of Anna Doriney Seagers (Lofgren) on March 12, 2023, in Lancaster, PA She was born July 9, 1943, in Putnam, CT, the daughter of Walter and Wilma (Wikfors) Lofgren. She married James D. Seagers in 1961. She leaves behind sons David Kirk Seagers, wife Shelly Seagers, of West Chester, PA and Todd A. Seagers, wife Margie Seagers of Lancaster, PA. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kirsten A. Szalapski (Seagers), wife of Brett Szalapski of Cupertino, CA, Anna C. Seagers of Lancaster, PA and Jonathan R. Seagers of Arlington, VA. In addition, she is survived by her dear sister Doris Zinno of Sandwich, MA; one nephew James L. Watson and family of Derry NH; one niece Mila Breton and family of Chelmsford, MA; and numerous other family and friends from around the world whom she held dear. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Wilma (Wikfors) Lofgren and her husband James D. Seagers. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She loved traveling the world and meeting people. She loved spreading joy to all she met. She was a proud member of the Swedish Colonial Society and the American Swedish Historical Museum. She will be greatly missed. A Private Celebration of Life will be held by the Family at a future date.
