On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Barry went home to be with the lord. He passed peacefully at Hospice at 9:30 pm. He will be greatly missed.

The youngest son of Michael and Ethel, Barry lived an exciting life full of so many different experiences. Having met many people along the way that would later became his closest friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Michael and his mother Ethel Gottlieb. His sister Sharon Joann Dennis and his niece and goddaughter Cindy Lou Dennis. And his great nephew Ronnie Lavon Leggett Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his niece Bridgette her husband Bryon. His niece Julie Dennis and Nephew Frank Dennis. His great niece ShaRon Hope and great nephew Shaun Tymothy who he told everyone that they were the loves of his life.

A celebration of life to honor Barry will be held at a later date.
