Bessie G. (Winebrenner) Shelly, 86 of Dallastown, PA passed away on Friday, August 4th surrounded by her family members. She was the wife of James Shelly, Sr to whom she was married to for 68 years. Born October 24, 1936, in Wrightsville, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Katherine (Krenzer) Winebrenner. Bessie worked for various companies in York County before her retirement, but most of all a devoted wife and mother. She also enjoyed doing her word puzzles and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her three children, Kathy(Shelly) Sanders of O'Fallon, Missouri, Deborah(Shelly) Reynolds of Hallam, PA, and James Shelly, Jr and his wife Elizabeth Shelly of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers Frank Winebrenner and Charles Winebrenner both of York, PA. She was preceded in death by her brother Lester Winebrenner of Lancaster, PA, and grandchild Brittany Sanders of O'Fallon, Missouri. Arrangements will be made by Cremation Services of PA and a private family ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
