Catherine Sweigart, aged 65 of Willow Street, died at her home on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Beverly Sweigart. Cathy was a 1977 graduate of Solanco High School and was an avid reader who loved using her hands to be creative. She liked to quilt, crochet, and sew.

She also enjoyed going to the beach and watching House Hunters on television. Cathy had a green thumb, and she could take any dying plant and turn it into ten plants. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and fun-loving spirit.

Cathy was known by "Mimi" to her grandchildren and would always tell them, "Love you to the moon and back."

Cathy is survived by her companion of 15 years, Jeff Stoy, her mother, Beverly, and siblings, Steve Sweigart(Marge); Annmarie Eckert (Bud); MaryJane Stoltzfus (Kevin), and her children, Aaron Roten; Josh Roten; Chelsea Sheets (Kenny Jr); and Tommy Woods, as well as grandchildren, Aiden Roten, Felix Roten, Alice Roten, Kenny Sheets III, and Alex Sheets. She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 1, 2025, at 6PM at Wesley Church, 1104 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, PA 17566.
