Obituary

Hanover, PA—Charles "Charlie" R. Everhart Jr. , 93, of Hanover, PA entered into God's eternal care on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at Hanover Hall Nursing Home. Born July 17th, 1928 in Littlestown, PA he was the son of the late Charles Everhart Sr. and the late Helen M. Reaver. He served as a military policeman while in the U. S. Army and later, served as chief of police in Littlestown, PA. Following that, he served as a police officer for 20 years at Sparrow's Point in Baltimore, MD. Subsequently, he retired from Mars Supermarket warehouse as a Security Guard at age 74. He loved seeing family and enjoyed going for rides. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Weller Everhart, his son, Charles Everhart III, his granddaughter, Julie Stoner, and his stepson, Sonny Garber. He is survived by his sister, Doris Sacripont, his daughter, Cheryl Harpster and her husband, Bob, his sons, Rick Stoner and his wife, Marilyn, and Scott Everhart, his stepdaughters, Linda Selby and her husband, Rick, Sandy Martz and her husband, Bill, his stepson, Bill Garber and his wife, Mary, his grandchildren, Connie Krzysko, Michelle Feeser, Stacey Harpster, Robert Harpster, Beccy Murrow, Ben Stoner, Jen Sparr, and Ryan Everhart and his fifteen great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held by his family at their convenience.
