Obituary

Clyde Franklin Newcomer, III (also known as "Newk") of Millersville went to be with our lord on Sunday, July 28, 2024, after his second battle with cancer. He spent most of his life in Columbia, Pennsylvania, always close to his siblings.

He is survived by three brothers, Bill, Kevin and Larry as well as three sisters, Carol, Mary Phil and Sally. He is also survived by his eight children Donna, Melissa, and Jim, all of Lancaster.  Steve of Willow Street, Greg and Clyde of Millersville, Susan of Quarryville and Paul of Columbia. Clyde also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Clyde was preceded in death by his brother, Michael.

He was a member of St Peters Catholic Church, a graduate of Columbia High School where he was quite the track star. He was a carpenter by trade, making his mark as such in Columbia. He served in the United States Navy.

There will be a Celebration of Life in his memory for family and friends, at a later date.
