Constance J. White

Constance “Connie” White went home to be with her Lord on April 15, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was born on May 29, 1947, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Herbert and Evelyn Tangert.

Connie is survived by her loving sons, Kerry White and his wife, Glenda, and Timothy White and his wife, Andrea; her cherished granddaughters, Starla and Gemma; and her dear sisters, Jessica Brinkman (Thomas Brinkman) and Hollice Beck (Richard Beck).

Connie lived a life defined by strength, creativity, and deep devotion to her family. From a young age, she stood out for her intelligence, artistic talent and creativity, as well as her natural athletic ability. She especially loved playing baseball and often joined the boys in games, where she more than held her own. She had a strong swing and a competitive spirit, and the bat she used in those days remains a treasured keepsake.

She also had a gifted artistic eye and a passion for fashion and design. She found joy in designing, creating, and sewing her own clothing and expressing her unique sense of style. She lovingly made Halloween costumes for her sons, Kerry and Tim, pouring love and imagination into each one. These moments became cherished memories that reflect both her creativity and her love as a mother.

At her heart, Connie was a deeply caring and devoted person. She looked out for her younger sisters, Jessie and Holly, with a quiet strength and steady love that stayed with them throughout their lives. That same compassion defined her as a mother. She loved her sons passionately and showed that love in countless ways through her care, her creativity, and her constant presence in their lives.

Connie will be remembered for her strength, her creativity, and, above all, the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the memories they will carry with them always.
