Danielle Marie Coffroad

Danielle Marie Coffroad, 56, of York, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital on June 15, 2026. Born in Lancaster, to the late William R. and Constance "Connie" D. (Eckman) Coffroad, she was a graduate of JP McCaskey High School.

She worked many retail jobs at Jay's Market, Kmart, and Giant to Go before she was eventually sidelined from work due to medical issues.

Danielle loved music and art. She recently won first and third-place ribbons for her artwork at her day group at Bell Socialization Service. She also enjoyed playing music trivia, putting together puzzles, and playing bingo with her neighbors and friends at her apartment complex.

Danielle also loved Stitch and would often be seen wearing some sort of apparel with him on as well as her tattoo of him on her forearm. Her other love was her cat, Krista, who had been her constant companion and child for the last nine years.

Danielle enjoyed spending time with her friends at Bell Socialization Services and enjoyed the outings with them. She often looked forward to the monthly birthday parties and activities and was always very excited for their weekend trips. She was particularly looking forward to the upcoming trip in August.

Danielle enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her nieces and nephews and their children grow.

Danielle is survived by her sisters Kelly (wife of Chad Eckman) and Melissa (wife of Floyd Lee); her nephews, Corey, Donovan, Gordy, and Toby; her nieces, Rachel and Meghan; as well many great nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother Connie Coffroad and her father William (Bill) Coffroad.

She also had the most amazing caretaker, Vicky, who was like her best friend.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
