Danielle (Danni) Marie Coffroad

Danielle (Danni) Marie Coffroad, 56, of York, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital on June 15, 2026. Born in Lancaster, to the late William R. and Constance "Connie" D. (Eckman) Coffroad, she was a 1988 graduate of JP McCaskey High School.

Danielle worked mostly retail as a cashier for different companies.  She started at Jay's Market in Lancaster but moved on to work for companies like Kmart, Giant to Go and Turkey Hill. Danielle was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and had other health complications, so she eventually had to stop working due to them.   

Danielle absolutely loved her cat Krista who was her baby.  Krista was her constant companion over the last nine years and spoiled rotten.  You will notice the many pictures Danielle had taken of Krista displayed on her Facebook.  She was also able to get a great rendering of Krista tattooed to her left arm.  Danielle also loved Stitch and would always been seen wearing a t-shirt or some sort of apparel depicting him and would share those things with her great nieces who also loved the cartoon character.  

Danielle attended Bell Socialization Services Day program and loved to share her art capabilities with them. During her time with the program, she won multiple awards during their Art Shows and was always so thankful that she was recognized. Danielle was also looking forward to the yearly camping trip with her friends from Bell.  Danielle also enjoyed creating memes and posts about her favorite music groups and comedians and shared them on Facebook with the like-minded people in the groups she belonged to.  Danielle was really hoping to take a trip to England to see her favorite comedian/one-man show The Nursery Nurse.  

Danielle enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her nieces and nephews and their children grow. Her and her best friend/caretaker Vicky would always be up to something and loved to play musical trivia or sit and do art projects while chatting away. Vicky was just like a sister to Danielle and Danielle loved her unconditionally.  Danielle would also take any opportunity she could to wonder up to the community room in her apartment building and join a game of Yahtzee, help put a puzzle together, play bingo with the others or just sit around and tell stories and laugh.  She also loved to check out the plants and small gardens the other residents planted for the summer.  

Danielle is survived by her sisters Kelly (wife of Chad Eckman) and Melissa (wife of Floyd Lee); her nephews, Corey, Donovan, Gordy, and Toby; her nieces, Rachel and Meghan; as well many great nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother Connie Coffroad and her father William (Bill) Coffroad.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 11th at 10:30 am at the Salvation Army 131 S. Queen St. Lancaster, Pa.  There will be a time for fellowship and a small lunch after the service.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
