David James Warshawsky passed away peacefully at home at the age of 64, surrounded by his friends, family and pets. He resided in Lancaster, PA., and was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Warshawsky and Janet B. Warshawsky. He is survived by his loving wife Kim, and their two daughters, Natasha and Rachael; his brother John Ramsdell (and wife, Brenda) his brother Richard Ramsdell (and wife, Kelly), and his stepmother Nancy Warshawsky, as well as many dear friends and family members.

David dedicated his career to the field of optometry, building his two private practices, serving in Lancaster and the surrounding area for over 20 years. Many of his patients described him as a competent, gentle and kind doctor. He loved music and played the guitar and piano, he also loved gardening and traveling, especially within the U.S., and he took his family on many trips and adventures. Few things however brought him more pride and joy than his two daughters. He was a devoted husband and father, bringing warmth, insight and humor to his family life. David will be very deeply missed by his friends, coworkers and family. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
