IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deanna Faye
Curry
January 28, 1937 – November 14, 2025
Deanna Faye Curry , 88, Myerstown, passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, on November 14, 2025. She was born in Hershey to the late John and Dorothy (Romig) Gibson. She was the wife of the late Rodney E. Curry.
Deanna was a tireless loving homemaker and co-owner of the D&G restaurant at North Lincoln Avenue and the Railroad. She worked as a dispatcher in the transportation industry for more than 25 years. She is survived by her children: Debra Miller, Lori Miller, Kenneth Miller and Kanyon Miller of Lebanon, PA as well as extended family and many, many friends.
Deanna loved our country and delighted in seeing our beautiful American flag flying. She was a patriot, supporting veterans and our country.
Deanna enjoyed the Country Acres retirement community in Myerstown. She enjoyed walking in the park and developed so many close and loving friends.
Deanna loved music throughout her life; she was a 1954 graduate of Cornwall High School where she was drummer and percussionist along with drumming for several other county bands. She was a lifelong supporter of Stan Kenton and Big Band Jazz. She was a beautiful singer, and she especially enjoyed a’ cappella harmony. For 26 years she sang tenor in the quartet “Chord Charmers,” a group who loved competing and performing as members of the Greater Harrisburg Chorus, Sweet Adelines International. In her later years she continued singing with GH Chorus and was an active member of the Lebanon Singing Cedars. Both choruses brought her great joy and many new friendships.
Deanna loved the outdoors - she grew up in the mountains of Mt. Gretna and delighted in walking along the Lebanon Rail Trail. Deanna loved feeding and watching the birds. She was an avid gardener and was often seen working in her yard which was lovingly filled with colorful flowers and bushes. Deanna was a true friend of many, and she was adored by her fellow travelers through life - she laughed readily and enjoyed seeing people happy. She will be very much missed.
