IN MEMORY OF
DREW M KILHEFNER
From July 10, 1941, to September 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Drew M. Kilhefner, who peacefully departed this world in his sleep after illness on September 12, 2026. Born on July 10, 1941, in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Drew's life was a testament to resilience, hard work, and stability.
Drew was a proud Navy veteran, he worked for over 30 years as a machinist at Caterpillar in York, Pennsylvania. Drew also worked part-time as a carpenter and occasional TV repairman over the years.
Drew enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his close friends, and making chicken corn soup at Colemanville Church. His home was his pride and joy, where he spent countless hours working in his yard and pond. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
Drew was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bernice Kilhefner; his brothers, Bruce and Tom Kilhefner; and his granddaughter, Amanda Lipka. He is survived by his four children: sons David and Michael, and daughters Heidi Wilds and Tracy Kilhefner Swope.
In accordance with his family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Drew's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Drew's memory to Lancaster, PA Hospice, an organization that provided him with comfort and care in his final days.
Though Drew has left this world, his spirit, and the lessons he imparted will remain with us always, guiding those who had the privilege to know him.
