Edward Keith Myslinski, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on January 14th, 2023, from pancreatic cancer. Known as Ed, Eddie, Ted, or Ski to those who knew him best. He was a 6'4" gentle giant whose life was centered around helping those in need. Growing up in the North-Western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia with his sisters Linda and Julie, and his brothers Michael, Leon (dec. ) and Will. As one of six children Ed developed a tough exterior, but as best described by the nurses he helped train in Lancaster "he was really just a big Teddy bear". An avid and capable hunter and fisherman - Ed loved nothing more than a new adventure, and was most at home in the wilderness, wherever in the world he may be. Ed devoted himself to life-saving professions – from fireman, to paramedic, to nurse – Ed knew his calling in life was to help those who needed it most. No one idolized him more than his two daughters, Leanne (dec. ) and Kate, and his grandchildren, William and Lucy. Ed will be dearly missed by both his Australian family, and his adopted American family of Dennis, Wendy and Sue. Together again with Leanne, rest in peace mate.
