Elmer H. vonStumm, 88, of Lancaster died peacefully on September 18, 2023, in the comfort of his family's presence.

His life began on December 23, 1934.

Elmer graduated from Patton Trade School, Elizabethtown, PA in 1953. He served in the United States Coast Guard (1953-1957) and was honorably discharged. Elmer was a 50-year member of Jordon-Martin Masonic Lodge #673, Allentown, PA. He was a salesman and manager in the auto parts industry in the Allentown area for over 50 years.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by a brother, Edward J. Stumm (Diana), a daughter, Krista Weber of California, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer H. Stumm and Mildred (Derkin) Stumm ; his brother, William Russell and two sisters, Anita Paton and Lois Klein.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at his brother, Edward's, home for a memorial service followed by a masonic service.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Elmer be made to the Masonic Charities, One Masonic Drive, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA 17022-2199.
