Eugene G Holsinger, 88, of Lancaster, PA passed away on June 8, 2024, with his family by his side.

Gene is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jane Brock Holsinger, and sons Derrick (Jennifer) of Auburn, NY and Damond (Lois) of Lancaster. Grandchildren Emerson, Lander and Ryker of Lancaster, Lauren Corcoran (Sean) and a Great-Granddaughter, Ryleigh Corcoran of Yardley, PA. Gene is also survived by his sister-in-law Joanne Holsinger of Broadway, VA and nine nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carson and Vada, and his siblings - Mildred, Everett, Robert, and Don. Gene was born at his family farm, Holsinger Springs, near Broadway, VA on January 8, 1936.

Gene attended Broadway High School, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and served as a Lieutenant in the US Army. Gene was a Credit and Finance manager in the New Holland Machine Company, and its successors, with assignments in NC, OH, PA, and Belgium.

Gene and Jane retired to the Shenandoah Valley in 1995. In 2019 they moved back to Lancaster County to be closer to family.

Gene's final resting place is an ancestral cemetery, located on a hill next to his homestead at Holsinger Springs Farm. Funeral services will be private.

Gene's family would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to hospice, friends, and family who provided support since his diagnosis in July 2023.
