Evelyn "Dolly" Rae Leedom, of Elizabethtown, Pa, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the age of 92. Born in Rheems, Pa, she was the daughter of Jacob and Lillian (Horst) Bechtel. She was the wife of H Earl Leedom. "Dolly" was fun to be around and made friends easily. She retired from AMP Inc. and also worked at Schick and RCA in Lancaster. She loved dogs and had many throughout her life. She supported many animal and veteran charities. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Earl Leedom, one son, Gary D. Leedom and a great granddaughter, Kelsey Grace Leedom. Evelyn is survived by her son: Alan E. Leedom (Joan) and daughter-in-law, Linda Leedom; four grandchildren: Scot A. Leedom (Stacey), Nicole D. Leedom (Joshua Geesaman), Melanie Wright and Jennifer Leedom (Clay McCullar); and five great grandchildren: Ashleigh Wright, Brittany Wright, Jacob Wright, Gary A. Leedom and Madison Brown. A service for "Dolly" will be held on, March 21 at 11:00 AM, at Sells Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Interment will be at a later date.
