Frederick Max Rehman, 90, of York, PA, went peacefully to his eternal home on November 3rd, 2022. He passed away at York Hospital, with family at his side. Born in Pottsville, PA, December 26, 1931, he was the son of the late Bernard Rehman and Emma (Schnell) Rehman. He joins his wife of 48 years, Donis (Horning) Rehman, in heaven. Fred served in the U. S. Army from 1952 to 1955. He was employed as a CPA and worked in finance until he retired. He loved God and his family as well as his dogs and could often be found working on a crossword puzzle or watching the news as he was passionate about politics. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in York, PA. Fred is survived by two sons, Mark E. Rehman and his wife Joy, and Timothy P. Rehman and his wife Julie, both of York, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Rehman, and his sister Marie (Rehman) Masimer. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 21st at 11:00 am, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2580 Mt. Rose Ave. , York, Pa. Visitation with family from 10:00 - 10:50 am and a luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
