George Henry Carney, III, 54, of East Earl, passed away on April 9, 2026, at his residence. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey, he was the son of George H. Carney, Jr. and the late Lola Rogers.

While he learned the art of welding, his true calling was found in the world of automotive repair. He spent years honing this craft, a skill and passion he proudly inherited from his father.
Outside of work, George found joy in the simple things he loved most. He had a deep love for dogs, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and spent time unwinding with video games. He also valued the camaraderie and connection he found while participating in VA-sponsored events.
George was a man of faith who knew the Lord, and his family takes comfort in knowing he has gone home to Him.
His family and friends will remember George not only for his technical talents and military pride, but for his gentle heart he shared with the world. His presence will be deeply missed, but his kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
