George C. Schenck

George C. Schenck, 89, of Lititz, passed away on May 20, 2026. Born in Bellefonte, PA to the late Carl and Anna (Torrence) Schenck, he graduated from Bellefonte High School and served in the United States Air Force.

George was a dedicated, loving Husband and Father.

He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller at Lancaster Airport. Outside of work, George enjoyed hiking, walking, basketball, shooting baskets, and attending air shows. He was such a caring and thoughtful person and will be greatly missed.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his sons, David Schenck of New Holland PA and James Schenck, and his grandchildren, Olivia Schenck and Daniel Schenck, as well as extended family.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
