George E. Smith

George E. Smith, 75, passed away at Hospice & Community Care after a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster in 1950 to the late Richard K. and Elizabeth Stoutzenberger, George was a diehard Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed listening to country music whenever he could.

He never married and had no children. George is survived by his brothers, Barry, Edward, Kenneth, Robert, and James Smith, and his sister, Barbara Rittenhouse, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard, Jr. and Charles Smith

At his wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
