Howard was born in the Coatesville Hospital on Dec. 18, 1921. He was the son of the late George Ritner Nunemaker and Margaret Pearl (Steeley) Nunemaker. Howard lived in Rock Run, PA, until he was 5 years old, his family then moved to Martin's Corner, PA, and then onto Birdell, PA, when he was 8 years old. Here, he grew up at the former Birdell Country Store & Post Office and then later on at a small farmstead. Howard worked his entire life as a machinist. He became a 'Planer Specialist'. He worked for McGuckin & Pile, Beloit Eastern, Lukens Steel, and Lenape Forge. Many area machine shops sought Howard's Planer Expertise to troubleshoot their own planer issues. However, Howard's main focus was on his faith. Howard collectively attended 4 different Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses in Pennsylvania for 90 years. And he was a baptized member of Jehovah's Witnesses for some 60 years of his life. He found contentment in glorifying our Creator and Heavenly Father, Jehovah, by teaching others about the "Good News" of his Heavenly Kingdom. He was married 55 yrs. to his Late Wife, Ruth L. Nunemaker. He is survived by 2 sons: G. Ronald married to Debra (Doyle) Nunemaker of Manheim, PA, & Paul married to Sharon (Moore) Nunemaker of Elverson, PA. He has 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Nunemaker, and 3 sons: Jere H. Nunemaker, of Lititz, and Barry married to Marlene Bolich, of Jersey Shore, PA, and Alan Nunemaker. He also had a great-great-grandchild, & a great-great-grandchild that preceded him in death. A Memorial Service is to be held at 6:30 PM on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022 via Zoom. A photo slideshow will start shortly after at 6PM. Any memorial contributions can be made to the West Coatesville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 67 Octorara Rd, Parkesburg, PA 19365. His interment will be private.
