Janet A. Huyett

Janet Aretta Huyett, 74, of Coatesville, passed away at her home on April 13, 2026. Born in Coatesville in 1952 to the late William J. and Edna E. (Syphard) Chesnet, she worked for Centecor / Johnson & Johnson as a biomedical research scientist for nearly 40 years.

In her spare time outside of her career, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Janet is survived by her three children, Michelle Boyd, Arthur Todd Huyett, and Samanatha Huyett; nine grandchildren, Thomas Boyd, Jr., Alex Boyd, Nicole Boyd, Alexes Huyett, Austin Huyett, Aleesa Huyett, Angelee Huyett, Nathanial Rosa, and Olivia Rosa; her brothers, Gene Chesnet and David Chesnet; her sister, Carol Borellly; as well as extended family and many friends.

As per her wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
