Jerry Lee Dunn

Jerry Lee Dunn, 45, of Lancaster County, PA passed away in the early morning on Monday May 4, 2026, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, PA after a lengthy health battle.

He is preceded in death by his mother Carol, maternal grandparents Helen and Curtis Reeves, and paternal grandparents Walter and Helen Dunn.

He is survived by his father, Elmer, and stepmother, Ruth, of Sadsburyville, PA; his stepfather David Lammey of Chester County, PA; his sisters Kimberly Leming (Larry) of Woodlawn, VA, and Stephanie Abbott (Ron) of South Carolina; his brother Jeffery Dunn of Florida; his stepsister Jacqueline DeChristopher of PA; his stepbrother Joseph Slonaker of PA; twelve nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews; a special niece Katie Beaver; and special friend Cindy Huey of New Holland, PA; as well as many friends

Jerry was born May 9, 1980, in West Chester, PA to Elmer Francis and Carol Sue (Reeves) Dunn, Jerry was raised and lived in Pennsylvania, until in his forties when he moved to Virginia to be with his mom and other family members, until after Carol's passing in 2023.

In early 2025, Jerry moved back to Pennsylvania, where he continued the battle with his physical health until his death. He enjoyed church, gospel music singings, and time with family and friends.

He will be missed by many!

There will be a memorial service held for Jerry on Sunday May 31st at First Baptist Church in Galax, VA with Pastor Kevin Rosenfeld for those friends and family in Virginia. The church’s address is 1024 East Stuart Drive, Galax, VA 24333.

For the friends and family in Pennsylvania there will be a service held at 5pm on Sunday May 31st at Grace Church with Pastors Brad Gromis and John Davenport. The church address is 62 Hahnstown Road Ephrata, PA 17522.

In lieu of any flowers to the Services or Family we ask that you would consider donating straight to his final arrangement funeral expenses.
