IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jody Ann
Herr
November 7, 1958 – December 30, 2025
Jody Ann Herr went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 30, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, PA to the late John and Virginia Herr, she was raised in Willow Street.
She worked for 28 years as an Application Specialist at Ultra Intelligence & Communications at CAES (formerly Herley) and made close friendships with many of her coworkers.
Jody loved children and was active with Solid Foundations Homeschool Group in Wakefield where she taught art classes for many years through which she was able to share her creative talents with the students. She specialized in many art mediums including beadwork, painting, crocheting, woodburning, and more. In addition to art, she enjoyed birdwatching, hiking, stargazing, plant identification, and nature in general. She enjoyed the wonders that God created.
She attended Living Stones Fellowship in previous years where she served as a Sunday School teacher.
Jody most enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was always good for a laugh, talk to, fun to be around, and with whom one could play games. Her family will miss tremendously, especially her youngest sibling, Judy, with whom she had game night every Sunday.
She is survived by her three siblings, John W. Herr, Jr. (Marci K.) of New Providence, Jean M. Aukamp (James A.) of Drumore, and Judy M. Rote (Paul C.) of Drumore; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved dearly.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
