John Lewis Adams, Sr., 57, of Elizabethtown, passed away at Penn State Hershey Medical Center on June 30, 2026. Born in Hershey, he was the son of the late Raymond L. and Marie (Bechtel) Adams and the husband of Laura (McMinn) Adams.

He passed away in a room full of love and not alone.

John was full of life towards the end, very sarcastic and loved joking around. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He and his sister, Tina, were very close.

John worked as a professional carpet installer and loved music, his family, gardening, the outdoors, and animals.

In addition to his wife, Laura, he is survived by his sister, Tina Adams Saylor; his children, John L Adams Jr, Brandon Adams, Bradley Adams, and Sierra Adams; four stepchildren; 12 Grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild; his best friend, Corey Cayton; extended Gonzalez family; extended Bechtel family; and extended Adams family.

He was loved by everyone close to him and will be missed by many.
