John Frederick William Lloyd Connell, 70, of York, PA peacefully passed away in his home on August 25th, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born September 22nd, 1952 to William Lawrence and Hallie Juanita Connell.

John, a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife, Jane; three daughters Alison, Lindsey and Brittany Connell; grandson Henry Gambrill; and five feline friends Matilda, Tom, Boycat, Lila and Sophie.

Originally a native of Waquoit, Massachusetts, John graduated from Lawrence High School and later earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology and neuroscience at the University of Vermont. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Boston where he forged a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, serving in many different positions that would ultimately take him up and down the east coast, and even overseas.

Although immensely satisfied with his distinguished resume, John took even greater pride in the beautiful family that he created with the help of his beloved wife of 40 years, Jane, whom he met during his time in Boston.

He will always remain with his family members in spirit, continuing with the selfless support, love, and care he has always been known to faithfully provide. Such qualities made John not only an exceptional husband, father and grandfather, but a remarkably admirable colleague, neighbor, friend, confidant and individual loved by one and all.
