Bloom, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, who departed this life on June 24, 2024, in Lancaster, PA. Born on August 29, 1948, in Lancaster, PA, Joyce was the daughter of Janet Walters(Kennedy), and Charles Beck. She was a proud graduate of McCaskey High School and went on to dedicate 30 years of her professional life at Dart Container, where she made numerous lasting friendships. Joyce's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and loyalty. She was known for her vibrant personality, often becoming the life of any gathering she attended. A champion of Candy Crush and a devoted Elvis fan, her light-hearted spirit and sense of humor brought joy to many. A devoted matriarch, Joyce cherished her family above all. She is survived by her loving son, Thomas Bloom, and his partner Jennifer Watts; her treasured grandchildren, Troy, Taylor, Aylisse, and Mykai; her great-grandchildren, Landon and Stella; her sisters, Sharon Walters and Donna Walters; her nephew, Luis "Buddy" Walters; her niece, Brittany E. Stackhouse; her great-niece, Fallon K. Ross; and her dear cousins, Brenda and Sharon. Joyce was also beloved by her daughter-in-law, Niki Bloom. She was preceded in death by her dear son Robert "Bebop" Bloom, her parents, and her brother Robert Brooks. Joyce had a great passion for traveling with her family and friends, and she enjoyed spending time at the beach or pool. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and she devoted countless hours to creating lasting memories with them. A private family memorial service will be held in her honor, respecting the family's request for privacy during this difficult time.
