Nana was devoted to her family and a hard worker she is going to be missed dearly by her family she enjoyed puzzles and coloring along with crossword puzzle books her favorite was getting the family together for meals are cookouts in the summer with some fishing thrown in life without the heart of the family will never be the same  Kathryn was preceded in death by a daughter Marie Santiago.

She leaves a legacy of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. Her children include Jessica Laughman, married to Ronald Laughman; Jennifer Santiago, partner Gully Owens (and Dorian, Marcus, Kendra Santiago), and Tony Santiago married Shara (and children Xandir, Aiden Santiago); grandchildren Deven Kennedy married to Kylee Kennedy, Miranda Russell married to Jimmy Russell, JyLynn Wray married to Wesley Wray; grandchildren Christina Shaffer; and great-children Faith Dejesus, Destiny Dejesus, Damien Dejesus, Dalilah Dejesus; and great-great children Liam Clare, Ivy Kennedy, Mason Kennedy, Weston Kennedy; as well her brother John Kennedy, married to Betty Kennedy
