IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Raymond
Rehm
November 30, 1938 – August 9, 2025
Kenneth Raymond Rehm, Sr., 86, of Quarryville, departed from this life on the evening of Friday, August 8, 2025, following a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster as the oldest child and son of Raymon and Saray (nee Stern) Rehm, he grew up with his family in West Lampeter Township.
Ken attended the local public schools there, after which he was drafted into the US Army. Ken served honorably in the Korean War, spending the majority of his services transporting fuel supplies to troops in Munich, Germany. By the time of his discharge, Ken had reached the rank of Specialist, 4th Class (SP4).
For over 25 years, Ken worked as a truck driver, paver, and heavy equipment operator. His greatest love of all were his classic cars - Ken loved to take old vehicles and breathe new life into them through countless hours of care. He shared this passion with many of his friends who knew him as the "Reverend Deacon" for his wisdom and humor.
Surviving Ken are his two sons, Kenneth R. Rehm, Jr. of Lebanon, and Robert L. (Jackie) Rehm of Willow Street, seven grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and pals. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his longtime companion of 35 years, Judy Deutsch, his daughter, Sherry Mumma, brother Charlie, and sisters Mary and Bonnie. Ken was the last of his siblings.
There will be no memorial service. Interment will be at the privacy and convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local VA or animal shelter.
