Kenny Allen Russell, Sr., 50, of Harrisburg, passed away at his residence on October 8, 2026. Born in Harrisburg in 1976, he was the son of the late Percy Eiland and Margie Russell.
Throughout his working career, Kenny worked at warehouses, medical transportation services, and served as a security guard. For more than 10 years, he worked at the Harrisburg Parking Authority. Most recently, he was at home on disability due to medical illnesses.
Outside of work, he enjoyed science fiction, watching comedy television, playing games of chance, playing pool, and spending time with his loved ones – especially his children.
Kenny loved Superman. Kenny did not cherish many material objects, but he cherished every gift his daughter gave him, keeping them close throughout the years.
Kenny loved his family often giving all he had whenever they needed it. Kenny was a very easy-going individual, not needed much to make life worth living. He enjoyed joking with others and was always able to get anyone to crack a smile. Kenny was a kind soul; there were not a lot of people who disliked him.
He was involved with Winners Chapel Intl. Harrisburg 1033 Maclay St, Harrisburg.
Kenny is survived by his daughter Katelinn Russell and son, Kenny Allen Russell Jr.
