Kitty L. Slobozien, affectionately known as "Mamaw," peacefully departed this life at age 69 on May 4, 2025, in Seven Valleys, PA, following a brave battle with long-term health complications. Born in York, PA, on May 9, 1956, Kitty was the beloved daughter of the late Leonard and Anita Spahr. She was a proud graduate of Dallastown High School and committed many dedicated years working for York City Hall, Lever Products, and Rutters, earning respect and friendship from colleagues wherever she went. Kitty's life revolved around her cherished family, whom she loved with unmatched devotion. She is survived by her devoted husband Jeffry Slobozien, children James Krout, Jennifer Pearson, Chasity Krout, and Jonathan Slobozien, and siblings Michael Forry, Kristi Maus, and Marcia Spahr. Kitty was a nurturing mother, proud grandmother of fourteen, and great-grandmother to two; her family was her pride and joy. Despite her health challenges over the past twenty years, Kitty never lost her generous heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved, never hesitant to extend help to those in need. Her compassion extended beyond her life, highlighted by her final selfless wish as an organ donor. Kitty found joy and comfort in simple pleasures such as bonding with family and friends, enjoying games, crime shows, movies, and time spent with her beloved dog, Diamond. Her warm smile, kindness, and patient demeanor were a beacon of comfort to her loved ones. In accordance with Kitty's wishes, cremation arrangements will be handled by Cremation Services of PA. No public services will be held at this time, as she desired their remembrance to be kept within the hearts of those who knew her best.
