Lois June Cray, 86, of Mount Joy, PA formerly of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully on December 4, 2021. Lois was the last surviving child of 12, born to Frank and Mary (Meehan) Ayres. After moving to Pennsylvania in 2016 to be closer to family, she continued her lifelong passions for reading, bingo, and cheering on her Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles teams. A loving wife for 56 years until her husband Howard Cray's passing in 2011, she was also a caring mother to her surviving son Steven Cray and his wife Jane, and grandmother of their children Laura and Ross. She certainly missed her travelling adventures with the DeCou and Rusling Seniors clubs in New Jersey but she enjoyed watching birds and the antics of her neighborhood squirrels and loved taking sightseeing rides exploring the beautiful Lancaster County countryside. The family is planning a future graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, New Jersey where she will be laid to rest with her husband Howard and son Paul Cray. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in her memory to either Masonic Village Hospice, 98 Masonic Drive, Suite 101, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or online at https://masonicvillagehospice. org/donate/) (to whom the family is truly grateful for their angelic care of Lois) or to Scouts BSA's Troop 39 of Mount Joy, Attn: Glen Morrison, 435 North Angle Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552 (reflecting Lois and her family's treasured memories of Scouting adventures and life lessons).
