Lynn Joy Plantholt

Lynn Joy Plantholt, 77, of Christiana, passed away at unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital on April 17, 2026, after a heart attack on April 15. Born in Lancaster to the late Roy and Elizabeth A. (Kennedy) Bushong, Lynn worked as an assembly line laborer for more than 30 years and was a resident of Newport Meadows Nursing for the past 4 ½ years.

Outside of work, she enjoyed cross-stitching and knitting. She was also a longtime member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ephrata.

She is survived by her sister Sunnie D. Dringenberg of Newport News, VA and her brother, Curt Chambers, of Hershey, PA.

As per the family’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
