Mary Jane C "Connie" Cable, 88, of Gap, PA died peacefully on April 23, 2024, in Lancaster Pennsylvania, in the presence of her family.

Connie was born on November 2nd, 1935, in Baltimore Maryland to Vincent and Blanche (Lathe) Tamburo.

She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Baltimore Maryland. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved cooking, crafting, and painting. She loved flowers, gardening, and her pets.

Connie was full of life and always brought joy and laughter to those who surrounded her. Even in the last months of her life, she taught her entire physical therapy staff and classmates how to officially do "the twist." In her honor, the nursing facility will now make this an official exercise for their group therapies. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Connie is survived by her husband Donald V. Cable, sons Vincent Schadel, Scott and wife Donna Schadel and Darrin Schadel and husband Jeffrey Esmond and their children Benjamin, Shoshana, and Isaac Esmond-Schadel, who lovingly call her "Grammy."

She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent S. and Blanche Tamburo, and brother Vincent C. Tamburo.

As per Connie's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in the memory of Connie to The Factory Ministries at 3293 Lincoln Hwy. East, Paradise, PA 17562.
