Mary Jane Winters, 99, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 peacefully in her home. She was born in East Hempfield Twp. on May 28th, 1924 daughter of the late Harry and Hettie Sauder, of Lancaster.

Mary was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 1942. She was a remarkable woman, loving and caring mother and grandmother/great grandmother. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She was smart, strong, tough, thoughtful, and kind. She worked as a medical secretary for the late Dr. James Martin for 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, playing card games and crossword puzzles, watching the Philadelphia Phillies, and spending time with her family.

Great-Grandchildren's; Annabelle and Sylvia Winters, of Hanahan, SC Hazel Pacheco-Winters, of Denver, CO. Iris, and Paisley Florian, of Ada, OH

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Leon Winters of Lancaster, PA and son Barry Winter of Lancaster, PA.

The Memorial Service will be held at the Mountville Church of the Brethren, 60 Clay Street, Mountville on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.
