Maryanne Frances Marke

Maryanne Frances Marke, 82, of Elizabethtown, passed away at Hershey Medical Center on August 4, 2026. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Anna V. (Walrath) Granger and of the Irish Catholic heritage.

For Maryanne, family was everything. She enjoyed harassing her brothers and loved being a mother and grandmother.

She was a volunteer seamstress for Phoenix Productions at the Count Basie Theatre and active for many years at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.

She enjoyed sewing in her free time and participating in Revolutionary War reenactment all over the East Coast during her early and mid-life.

Maryanne is survived by her son, Joseph A. Marke Jr. her daughters, Susan Waller and Denise Capps; her brothers, William and James Granger; her grandchildren, Hannah Fahey, Gwendolyn Marke, and Killian Marke; as well as extended family and many friends.
