Melvin (“Spark”) E. Shoff, Jr . 67, went to Heaven on February 5, 2026, from his home in Morgantown.

Born at home in Dallastown to the late Melvin E. and Susie (Kurtz) Shoff, Sr., “Spark” worked in the construction industry building homes.

Spark collected trucks, unicorns, and coins, and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and shooting pool. He loved sports, particularly football, baseball, and NASCAR racing. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Spark was always one to stay busy whether fixing things or working on vehicles. He was always willing to help others, being outside and cooking on the grill, and playing poker with his sons, family, and friends.

He is survived by his sons Danny Shoff of Morgantown and Steve Shoff of East Earl; his brothers Donald Kurtz of Narvon and Ricky L. Shoff of Narvon; his sisters, Susie Ann Kieffer of Honeybrook and Brenda Berrier of Narvon.

Spark will be greatly missed by everyone.
