Nancy K Book (Doyle)

Nancy K Book, 69, of Adamstown, formerly of Paradise, PA, passed away on Sat. Nov. 23, 2024. Born on April 26, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Richard "Dick" & Alice (Gettel) Doyle of Dry Run. Graduate of Fannett-Metal High School, Class of 1973. Married to the late C. George Book in 1977, they moved to Lancaster County & both worked for Lancaster DHIA. She was a member of Lampeter Church of the Brethren. A loving wife & mother, she enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, singing & baking.

Surviving are her step-children: Marlene Shearer of Dry Run; Scott Book of Auburn; Matthew Book of McAlisterville; Dorothy Casella of Williamsport. Her children: Charlene Book of Ephrata; Amanda Funk of Adamstown; Charles "CJ" Book of Ephrata; her 12 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. In addition; her sister Rose Mary Doyle of Carlisle; Shirley Enslin of Chambersburg; William "Bob" Doyle of Dry Run and Peg Heck of Shippensburg. She is proceeded in death by her stepdaughter Stella Walmer.

A memorial service in her honor will be held Sat. Dec. 21st at Lampeter Church of the Brethren at 10:30am with a luncheon to follow.
