Nancy Gayle Cloud

Nancy Gayle (neé Estell) Cloud, born August 12, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at Christiana Hospital, Delaware. She was 64 years old and had lived in Oxford, Pennsylvania, for over four decades.

An enthusiast of games and puzzles, Nancy enjoyed card games, primarily Rummy, pool, bowling, and horseshoes. Her keen intellect made her a formidable competitor in crossword puzzles and a whiz at game shows. You didn't stand a chance to beat her at Scrabble. Nancy loved music and had an eclectic taste. From George Jones to Stevie Nicks to Godsmack, she always had an impressive speaker system and wasn't afraid to turn it up. In that same spirit, she unapologetically spoke her mind and really didn't care what anyone thought.

She was deeply cynical and very guarded, but she did have within her an adventurous and rebellious spirit. Nancy was devout to her soap operas and always held a deep love for horses. She even had a Cockatiel named Ozzy at one time. When she laughed, it was contagious. When she loved, it was strong.

Nancy is survived by her son William (Jaime) Cloud, son Christopher Cloud, and her daughter Ericha Cloud (Bingham). She also leaves behind five grandchildren. Her sister Liz Silicato, two nieces, and her stepfather Norman Reed also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Cloud; her mother, Emeline (Lynn) Reed; and her son, Benjamin Cloud.

The memory of Nancy Gayle Cloud will remain carefully in the hearts of those who knew her, as someone who lived life on her own terms and to the best of her ability. May she be remembered with compassion, grace and LOVE.
