Nancy J. Hoover, 92, was reunited with her beloved husband Herbert B. Hoover, on July 27 2022. She was the daughter of the late Elwood and Stella Coldren. Nancy was a dedicated nurse for 40 plus years until her retirement in 1994. She was an avid reader, especially her bible. She was devout in her faith and was a member of the Schwarzwald Lutheran Church for over 50 years. When she was not reading, she enjoyed watching the Phillies, crocheting, traveling, and picnicking with the people she cared for. Nancy loved the beach and she loved to swim, often she would visit Felix Dam with family. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she would go all out for the event. Also, as a rule in Nancy's home, Saturday was for opera and Sunday was for Jazz. Nancy was well-loved and the love she had for her husband, and family, was deep and dedicated. Nancy is survived by her children, Barry Hoover (husband of Ruth), Pamela Palermo, Lisa Reilly, Mark Hoover, and Joel Hoover (husband of Lauren); her brother Douglass Coldren; her grandchildren, Jeffery, Sarah, Amy, Robert, Ryan, Megan, Sean, Marisa, Joshua, Alec, Nicholas, and Drew, and 13 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Nancy is proceeded in her passing by her sister, Betty Ruth, and her brother Bruce Coldren. A Memorial service will be held at Schwarzwald Lutheran Church on August 13th 2022. Visitation will begin at 11AM with services at 12PM, followed by a luncheon.
