Patti passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Tuesday, January 31st after a brave and mighty battle with a long illness. She was the beloved daughter of Susanne Wragg of Lititz, PA and John H. Lang (deceased) and devoted mother of Maria Susanne Emerson (James Emerson) of Bear, DE. She is also survived by sisters Misty Whelan (John Whelan), Hope Lang, and brother Robert Lang (Jennifer Lang); six nieces and nephews, Casey (Matt), Logan, Nathan, Sarah, Morgan, and Wyatt; and great nephew Grayson and great niece Hailey. In her younger years, Patti worked as an EMT in Ocean City, NJ - her happy place. She lived and worked in Dover, DE for most of her life and served as a medical assistant, office manager, and patient care giver throughout her years in Dover. She was truly compassionate to all those she assisted and cared for. Patti worked for Aramark at Delaware State University and Jonathan's Landing in catering management in her later years. She graciously organized events for university executives, brides, and businesses. She always had a passion for music, she could often be found working or visiting a music festival during the summer. She even spent some time working in the music industry. She published her first record for local band Hyde Park in 1991 under her business, Lang Records. Everyone who met Patti loved her and appreciated her work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond. Patti was a 1979 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and graduate of Delaware Technical Community College. She had a huge heart and loved animals including her dogs, Rebel and Ladybug. She is survived by her cat, Bella. We will miss our mother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, niece, and cousin, but we are comforted that she is now at peace and with our family members in heaven who also loved her dearly. The family is planning to hold a private celebration of her life in April. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to: The First State Animal Center & SPCA of Camden, DE: https://www. fsac-spca. org/in-memory or to: The Ann B.
