Phyllis A. Martin, age 81, of Lititz passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was the loving wife of Carl W. Martin of Lititz.
Born June 14,1943 in Harrisburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ellen Shue and was a graduate of William Penn High School Class of 1961.
She was an active member of the Lititz Church of the Brethren Cornerstone class and volunteered for the church with a loving heart in too many ways to count. She also greatly enjoyed singing in the church choir.
She and her husband enjoyed a cruise to Alaska, annual trips to NOAC (National Older Adult Conference) and many camping adventures in their camper. She also loved cooking, baking and hosting family get togethers large and small.
She is survived by her husband Carl, as well as the following children, Vicky Hill (Derrick), Mark Tobias, Susan Manno (Mark), Sherry Lewis (Rob) and Michael Tobias (Deb) as well as the following grandchildren, Jasmine Tobias, Alan Tobias, Payton Weit, Cole Lewis, Madison Weit, Samuel Tobias, Colin Lewis, and Javon Hill.
She is also survived by Richard Tobias (husband of Brenda) with whom she shared Vicky, Mark, Susan and Michael and a sister Barbara Imboden of Virginia Beach and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 3 PM at Lititz Church of the Brethren, 300 W Orange St. Lititz PA. There will be no viewing but a time of gathering/reflecting/reminiscing from 4-6 PM immediately after the service.
We love and miss you Mom and will forever hold you in our hearts.
