Renee Spencer of Leola, Pa passed away peacefully at Hospice Care of Mount Joy, Pa on February 7th, 2023, and went to be with the Lord at the age of 58. She was born in Lancaster on June 21st, 1964. And was predeceased by her father Donald Rathkey, Sr. Renee is lovingly remembered by her mother Nada Rathkey; longtime boyfriend, William Dow; sons, Paul Shelley Jr. , and wife (Brittany), Chas Hess and wife (Miranda); brothers, Jeff Rathkey and wife (Kathy), Donald Rathkey, Jr. and wife (Sue). Six grandchildren; Dominick, Issac, Cameron, Addison, Camren, and Avery. In addition to her extended family. Renee was a breast cancer fighter and continued to fight until the very end. She loved spending time with her boys and especially her grandchildren. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan, but also enjoyed watching soap operas. Her favorite animals were horses. She graduated Manheim Township High School. She was employed at Comfort Inn and loved her work family. She knew how to light up a room and make everyone aware she was there.
