Ricardo Valentino, 63, of Lancaster, formerly of Washington, PA, passed away, Sunday, March 7, 2021. He was the son of the late Henry Blackford Bell II and Maxine Yvonne Valentino. He was born in Washington, PA, on April 26, 1963 and raised in Daisytown, PA. Ricardo later traveled to California where he graduated from California Area Senior High school in 1981. He studied at Stevens State College of technology and earned an associate degree in Auto body Repair in 1983. He also received their highest athletic award," Most Outstanding Senior Athlete," and MVP for football and track. Ricardo's passion was to participate in sports, but he loved watching his favorite NFL team, The Pittsburgh Steelers. Ricardo became employed by Wohlsen Construction Co. in 1989 and, in 1994, he became a carpenter after graduating from the ABC Apprenticeship program. Ricardo starting working for local union #214 Carpenters in Harrisburg in 2000. In 2009, Ricardo left Carpenter Union and started his own business, Lancaster's Finest Handyman, and became the top-rated home improvement contractor through Home Advisor. Ricardo held some of the highest reviews for his professionalism and craftsmanship. Ricardo is survived by his three loving children: Ricardo L. Myers, Ricosha Valentino, Ebony Valentino; Three Grandsons: Brayden, Calvin, and Luke; Sibling: Romona Walker, Virgil Walker, D-Verronda Valentino, D-Claude Gary Valentino, Elaine Valentino, D-Kevin Valentino, D- Todd Valentino, Felicia Valentino, Disree Valentino, and D-Lamont Valentino.
