Richard J. Curtin, 83, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Frank and Eleanor (Riley) Curtin, Richard honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Army during the Cuban Blockade and Vietnam War. Upon his return from the service, he married Patricia Hamel.

He worked as a truck driver for most of his working career.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his two children, John Curtin and Sharon Curtin, both of Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Cassaundra and Sarah Curtin; two great-grandchildren; his brother, Ted Curtin of Methuen, MA; his sister, Patricia Sims of Hawaii; as well as extended family and many friends.

There will be no public viewing. Private services will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the family's convenience.
