Richard Lee Northeimer

Richard Lee Northeimer, 73, of Gap, passed away at his residence on September 13, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1953, to the late Woodrow W. Northeimer, Sr. and Edith (Wynn) Northeimer.

He graduated from Garden Spot High School and was self-employed as a painter and paper hanger. He an avid Cowboys fan and was passionate about hunting and fishing, especially with his twin brother, Tom. He was a member of the Paradise Sportsman Club.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Heather Allison (wife of Ryan), Hope Musser (wife of Mike); and Kelly Hamilton (husband of Joel); his sister Judith Nissley (wife of Carl); his twin brother, Thomas (husband of Sandra); 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and many friends. He was proceeded in death by his son, Chad Northeimer who passed away on August 28, 2026, as well as his sisters Joanne Sanger, Susie Groff, and Jane Bennett and his brothers, Woodrow W. Northeimer, Jr., and J. Lewis Northeimer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on October 24, 2026, at Ranck's United Methodist Church, 700 Ranck Road, New Holland with Pastor Conner Felty officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Burial will be at 3PM at Mount Zion Church, 753 Mt. Zion Road, Narvon, PA 17555.
