Robert H. Stauffer, 88, formerly of Stewartstown, passed away on February 5, 2026. Born in York, to the late Jacob and Gertrude (Auckey) Stauffer, he graduated from William Penn High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Robert worked as a machine operator in the manufacturing and factory industry for more than 30 years and was a deeply devoted sports fan. He loved all sports and could watch them and talk about them for hours.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Darr (Joseph) of Lancaster, California; son-in-law Patrick Sheehan; grandchildren Mikayla Darr and Michael Darr; and a great-granddaughter, Jalya Browning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert H. Stauffer, Jr. who died in May of 1962; and his daughter, Victoria Sheehan, who died in December of 2025.
