Sally A. Sweigart

Sally A. Sweigart, 77, of Ephrata, passed away at her residence on May 21, 2026. Born in Ephrata to the late Clayton and Helen (Fry) Eberly, she was the loving wife of the late David Sweigart, who died in January.

Sally was employed as a Seamstress before working in the cafeteria for the Ephrata Area School District. She was the Ephrata Varsity and JV Cheerleading Coach for many years.

Sally was an avid crafter and crocheter, gifting items to her family members and donating to many charities. Above all roles, her role as a Grammy was most important. She loved her family fiercely and they all have many crocheted blankets with the tag “Made with Love by Grammy”.

Sally loved her late husband David and missed him dearly. We have comfort in knowing they are together again in Heaven. Her daily presence in our lives will be greatly missed.

Sally is survived by her daughters Melissa Krawizcki (wife of Joe Krawizcki), and Jessica Lefever; her grandchildren Emily Sweigart, Donovan Lefever, Rhianna Lefever, and Evan Rodgers; great-grandson, Israel David Whitfield; as well as extended family and friends.

Interment services at Indiantown National Gap Cemetery will be held at a later date.
